Crosman 38 "Combat"

Any pics?

Not sure of value, but if you can't find an answer here try the Canadian Airgun Forum (ww-w.airgunforum.ca)

Chances are any airgun question you have, someone there will be able to answer it.

Crosman 38 C or T

they made so many of them that they really aren't worth anything as collectors , I've seen them at gun shows go for $40 in rough shape to about $110 in good shape with box and paper work ( and not needing a resealing ) they are fairing accurate , made of pot metal (not plastic ) they look good , if you have one shoot it and enjoy it , the chances it goes up enough to justifiy storing it ?? well maybe your grandson will be able to cash in ..........Joe

I have an old Crossman 38-T, which is the "target" version of that gun. Basically the same but mine has more adjustable sights. Not really worth anything.

Mine barely even spits the .22 pellets 100 feet. I think I need new seals or something.

Okay, good to know. I am considering it for hunting grouse, if I can can get new seals and it proves to be accurate and powerful enough. No idea really.

I got it for nothing so it won't cost me more than a seal kit to try to see if it is worth using for hunting. Looks like $30.00 bones. At worst, it won't leak anymore and I will get more plinking per cylinder.

If it looks like it might work for hunting I have a pistol scope hanging around with nothing to do. I could get the revolver drilled and tapped to work with the scope. I didn't want to do that if it was somehow considered a collectors item. Better to ask now than say oops later.

Free Crossman guns!

No, not really.
I have no luck with Crossmans, so you can have either one for free, but $25 for shipping.
Both were bought new and had leakage problems. I have tinkered with both to no effect, but they are essentially intact.
Number 1 is a 38C .22 cal with a holster (looks better than DAX420's gun) and Number 2 is an "American Classic" model 1377 .177 cal.with a damaged shoulder stock.
Neither works and there is no warranty. First interested party gets the gun when I get the money, but I don't want the same person to get both.
Send a PM.
