Does anyone know if its safe to solder the copper tube to the piercing block on the Crosman 38T. Im thinking it might melt the tube seal so Im asking if anyone has ever done this. I know I should unscrew the tiny screw and replace the seal but the screw head is so thin I cant get a good hold. If the tube is moving I figure its leaking to. Any solutions out there? I'll buy 38 .22 parts and guns if anyone has or knows of any also.

Crosman parts

Hi there

Ive got a couple of 38 revolvers i would like to sell.

2 Crosman 38 revolvers in .22 cal both in fair condition.
38C is complete with metal cylinder and long metal rear sight, seals and shoots.
Grip panel cracked fixed with JB weld

38T rear sight is broken but included, metal cylinder, leaks down barrel, missing grip.
Has all other parts except for a frame screw, would make a great parts gun to swap around with the 38C if wanted, cycles perfectly.
$140 shipped, sold as set only EMT prefered.

Im not so sure it would be a great idea to weld the parts together.
So look to me or another seller for a parts gun.
I would rather they go as a set but i can sell you the T model for $40 before shipping.
You could put your valve into it and have a working gun.

I know this is not the place for a sale item but sorry i meant to hit the PM button

Fabricated all my own seals from Teflon, Industrial Gasket, and various Viton o-rings. She now holds air and shoots like a dream. Cheers to these old pistols, I wont be waisting my money on those new plastic queens, even found a 38T with the metal cylinder and rear sight for my next project!!!

Yup, just needs to be cleaned up and resealed. The older model also has no safety link (38A-102) which helps in getting a little extra FPS with a little tuning. Cant wait. cheers

Nice to see someone get some use out of the old gun. Don't think it will take much to get her operating. I have the exact same one that works fine.

I have a couple 38T's and I am looking for a parts source. Need a piercing pin. Any help you can provide on the other seals I will need is appreciated.

D&L Airgun in BC sells reseal kits for those old 38T/C Crosmans. They are easy to reseal.

Go to the Crosman website and grab the parts diagram for your model and have at her.

If you get stuck I can do it for you for a fee.

I had a 38t in 177 and sold it to get a 357.. I'm an idiot!! lol Been thrue 3 357s 1 with a custom 14 inch barrel and some serious porting mods and not 1 shoots as good as that 38t i had.. It would group unbeleivable for a repeating co2 gun.. One of thos guns i wish i had never sold..

It did eat seals though.. Good luck with yours

I have two Crosman 38s , one short barrel , and one long barrel . Someone told me the Canadian army used to train with them, prior to real handgun training. I however prefer the Crosman MkI or MKII, way better air pistol all around .

Apparently Crosman Pellgun Oil makes a BIG difference and helps keep them sealed better as well.
