Any owners of Crosman Nitro Piston rifles?

I'm looking for a low noise plinker/pest control, backyard 22cal rifle that won't bother my good neighbors.
The model in particular is the Crosman Vital shot NP22, not a lot of reviews so not sure how they stack up? Any info good or bad would be greatly appreciated.

I have had cheap 'modded' Crosman phantoms shoot pretty well to 25 yards or so with the basic 'Crosman premier' pellet line and other heavy pellets. I'm sure the barrels are probably the same. I think the 'modded' non-pal rated guns shoot better then the pal rated ones as I'm pretty sure the sweet spot for a lot of air rifles is in the 575+fps range and they try and make the pal version shoot as fast as possible as a selling point but in reality it does no good for accuracy...

Neh i got a crosman vantage nitro piston trigger is not nice and i cant group better than an inch at 25 yards plus i find the nitro piston does not like the cold days

my buddy has the canadian tire " crossman Optimus .177
he ordered the "up grade spring" off the net. $45 bucks

It will go straight through a 2x4 chunk of wood. will shoot 75 yards easy.
we have shot 8x8 plates at 100 yards.

I had a Crosman Vantage in 177 and couldn't keep it under 1" at 25yds. I feel the 'nitro' just has a 'different' recoil than the springers - not better, just different. I traded it for an 'almost new' Sav 64, didn't look back. I've got a Crosman 'Classic' pump pistol in .22, and it shoots better than the vantage did at 25, plus more power potential. Can be modded a lot, too.
PS - The Optimus is a springer, not a Nitro. If you're new to air guns, do some research. Maybe a CO2 gun is the way to go . . . Much less recoil for control and accuracy.

Thanks.
Not new to airguns, but not up on new airguns. I had a Diana34, 177 for 20+yrs and it served well, zero issues.
I'm looking for a fairly quiet 22cal back yard pinker, garden pesting fun gun. Had my fill of shooting springers, looking for different options that don't break bank.
