Hey guys, I've never posted an airgun related question here, but anyways a couple of years ago, I went to shoot my Nitro piston (it's this one)....

And it seemed to be shooting low fps. Using my chrony, I found over the winter, it went from shooting 650fps to maybe 350ish.. from what I remember. I can't order any parts for it as it's no longer in production. I don't think anything could be fixed as in seals/o-rings, but it was a friend of mine who looked at it. Any recommendations? It was about 380$ at the time, I didn't want to have to get rid of it if I don't need to. Thanks.

Should be able to order any parts you need through Scopes and Ammo. Just need to know if it is an NP2 or the original NP. If you haven't noticed any difference in cocking force then my best guess would be that the piston seal has a nick in it and is no longer sealing to the chamber wall.

Don't know if I am allowed to post a link but here goes

If you email Eric at Scopes and ammo with your model number he will help you out. The Canadian Airgun Forum is also a great place to gain info as JustinB stated.

Airguns got me into the shooting game and I am a member of CAF. I am an amatuer airgun tinkerer but would be willing to take a look if you are close to Hamilton. I may even have the parts sitting here as I own a few Crosmans and ordered a few extra parts, piston seals included.

Thanks so much! I'm in Windsor, and I'd post there but tried here first as I already have a login. I'll talk to Eric, and report back. Thanks again!

The piston itself was leaking when taken apart from the end where it's at its widest, I can post pictures but will PM to someone who may want to see. It's the "Model ELS122" From 2009 I believe. A crosman Nitro Piston. Not sure if this would be what I need?

I can call and ask, but I didn't want them to just send it saying it will work to make money anyways.

You should be able to find a parts breakdown online at crosman.com, Gravel agency is the Canadian parts dist, you need to know what you want but shiping is cheap with them.
