Crosman RMCOIL vs Pellgunoil for 2240

Good morning all,
Crosman recommends using their Pellgunoil on the 2240, I am wondering if I can substitute the RMCOIL instead?

No you can't. Crosman RMCOIL is Silicon Chamber Oil for BREAKBARRELS not for CO2 guns! The 2240 is a CO2 pistol and you can only use Pellgunoil to lubricate seals.
