There's been a lot said about these on here. I won't reiterate it for you. Suffice to say it's typical Can-con quality issues.

Add me to the list. I have a habit of keeping my mags loaded. Never had any issues with doing that until now. 3 of my 4 crossmags split up the back and auto ejected their rounds into their storage box. I've got one left that I won't keep loaded and I'll see how long that lasts. I've owned the mags about a year.

I replaced the split mags with steel duramag 10 rounders. My 308 duramags have done just fine.

Anyone know if there's any warranty or anything for the crossmags?

Did you contact them?

I have about 40 Crossmsgs and after very heavy use some are starting to split. I’m not that concerned as like I said - heavy use. But now I’m interested in how much use yours have had ? Also I wonder if some crazy glue would fix them.

About a dozen outings over a year. With them being plastic I've not been dropping them on the ground. So I wouldn't say heavy use. I'm going to try and epoxy them and see if they'll work, but I'm not hopeful.

That's not good. Mine are several years old and have been used much harder than yours. Something is not right, for sure!

I've been running the same 2 cross mags for years (probably 2000 rounds between them) and haven't had any issues. I wonder if like mentioned above they came in contact with some sort of cleaner they don't agree with?

I did lube them with balistol after the first time out because the follower kept sticking. Maybe this was it?
