I've hade this old girl most of my life. As a kid I didn't take her good care of anything, I didn't abuse things, I just didn't spend time caring for them. After years of neclect the 180 was looking pretty rough. I stripped it down a bunch of years ago to refinish and reblue but ran out of time and never got it back together. The various parts were swept into a box and shelved.
Fast forward to last week, I was cleaning up my all my old crap up and discovered my long forgotten box of 180 parts. Looking over the metal it was obvious a blue job wasn't going to polish this turd. Out comes the wire wheel, a jug of degreaser and a few rattles cans of krylon. Some new seals and a fresh coat of paint was all it took to get interested in her again.
Base coat Khaki
Covered in garden shrubs
Second colour sprayed over shrubs
Final result. Not bad for a first stab at camo
