Crusader Arms new semi auto .308, the Crux

"threaded 1/2-28" come on surely that's not right,...

It is possible to thread a 30 cal to 1/2-28. There are rifles out there with that muzzle thread. Personally I don't think it's pdatea good idea but it can be done.

Update: I checked out their website and it says 5/8-24 muzzle thread.

User Dawsbon on Reddit received his Crux. Although he has yet to fire it, he has given his first impressions of one of the first Cruxes received by a customer, https://www.reddit.com/r/canadaguns/comments/1539stb/crux_308/ , which were quite positive. Apparently it uses three, not two guide rods for the BCG. I can't wait to see pictures of the internals!

Using three guide rods instead of two seems like an... odd... move. I hope there's enough meat in the solid mass of the bolt carrier for another hole to go through without creating weaknesses or potential failure points in the metal.

Then again, the Templar and Crusader 9 bolt carriers are super thick and heavy so maybe there's room to spare to punch another hole through it (?).

Yeah, excited. I still can't help but think they should have offered it at a lower price point. But they have their reasons, I'm sure.

I was coming here to mention that dawsbonn has theirs but I see that Ustauk beat me to the punch. I'm also curious to see a picture of the internals!
