I believe we are supposed to be bugging Captain Paul as he was supposed to be rewarded the job of doing the first rounds of testing. Although if I was really interested in 1 I would be bugging Wolverine to get some real world testing & info, not just pic's.
I stand corrected. Was it not Dude in G.P. that is supposed to be doing the testing? Also, I believe it was the carbine version. Calibre might be different too. In any case he says the rifle should be in his hands by monday.
Any volunteers to give our first 7.62 carbine a "torture test", must be prepared to give her a rough work out with photos and report posted here. No, I will not pay anyone, I want an unbiased report. Just send me an e-mail: John@wolverinesupplies.com stating why you should have the task.
You don't have to purchase the carbine, we will lend it to you!
Does the sporter come in 7.62?
Not through the same manufacturer. The .223 is made by Czech Small Arms (CSA).
A 7.62x39 Model with same barrel length, design and style is made by CZ. It is known as the CZ 858-2. You can purchase that from wolverine supplies as well they are the importer. There are minor difference in furniture. Also, there is no built in rail.
ok, i think you are getting the name "sporter" confused , the sporter is applied to the entire CSA VZ58 line .
so CSA also make 7.62 , but they are in carbine and compact form, not in rifle (non-restricted) form.

I would love some actual MOA measurments for the accuracy of the CSA in 5.56 with the 18.5" barrel. This has the potential to be a good varmint gun, but not if it can't hold 1 MOA.
ThanksIf anybody has one in Alberta I will test it for you
haha
