These are not just useful for 556 LAR mags in your VZ.. they should go nicely with the 10rnd 7.62x39 XCR mags that are in Canada now. ;)

That should diversify N. Sylva's market nicely. Get the VZ guys up to par with the AR guys in matches.
 
10 round 7.62x39 AR Mags??? Where?!?!

Looks like I'm gonna have to get me one of theses adapters then. Initially I wasn't sure if they would fit in the 7.62x39 rifles cause I figured the mag housing was slightly different. Since it isn't, sign me up!

For the XCR "Pistol"..
 
does any one at NS know if the magwell adapters go into the CZ 858 non restricted type rifle? It's what i have and i know the receiver is similar but im not sure if it similar enough to install this adapter. If it can be installed Ill get on ASAP and a bunch of XCR mags.

I dont think they will work in the 7.62 versions.... The AR type mags are longer and dont fit in the 7.62 mag wells.

For them to work, I would think that you would need to modify the receiver.

This is speculation as I have not seen the NEA mag well in person yet. Just been playing with AR mags and my 2 CZ rifles in 7.62...
 
I think there is a post buy North Sylva stating that they only work in guns starting with a certain serial # and ones prior to that may require machining.

They're made by CSA, not NEA. If they were made by NEA, we would have had them a year ago and versions for both calibers would be available.

And they wouldn't be made out of plastic.

I still think I'll take a stab at making one work in a 7.62 gun.
