Hey guys

Wondering if I would be able to order through one of your dealers a replacement barrel for my CSA VZ 58 ? My barrel is still fine I would just like to have one on hand. Would prefer with sight block and gas block already installed. What about other small parts like firing pins, extractors, and extractor springs etc ?

Thanks

Talked to Dlask before, they can make me one. But it isn't exactly cheap. Id imagine buying one through North Sylva would make more sense cost wise as they are the importer of the CSA rifles, if I recall and they also do their warranty repairs. CSA makes the barrels for the VZ 58, so it wouldn't be an off project for them, more along the lines of an off the shelf item so it should be cheaper.

Pretty sure that you would need a good furnace to do the swap. Or a tiger torch perhaps?
Perhaps dry ice too.

Heat the receiver, and cool the barrel, and make sure that you have the sight perfectly vertical when you press them together. A Jig would be worth the time to make.

Im a welder by trade, I can handle building a jig and a lil heat on the receiver. Have taken plenty of things apart that have been pressed together. No worries of any issues with the receiver heat treating as the only areas of the csa vz58 that are heat treated are the locking lugs and rails... No need for a furnace a light heating of where the barrel fits the receiver and it should pop right out.
