First time I shot it I had 2 FTE with Barnaul ammo and no issue the next 80 rounds with American eagle, independence 556 and MFS.
Just today I went again with american eagle ammo and independence 556 and shot 80 rounds (40 AE and 40 I) and I had one FTF with the independence ammo.

So what's the general concensus on the FTE and FTF? Is it just a break in period? Chamber too tight? What gives?

Are you using the mag adapter? If so, the mags might be to blame.

If it doesn't work send the gun my way, ill give it some TLC and love it regardless if it shoots haha!

No, I'd bet you've got some 7.62x39 parts mixed in on your .223 gun. Send it back to North Sylva and have them fix it. I did that with both my .223 CSAs.

First time I hear this one... if that's the case then it's pretty miserable they can't get it right the first time given the price of the rifle.

So I have received the rifle back after 3 weeks of waiting, but was away so I couldnt check it until then. Apparently the rifle is within specs and has no issue. I wont be able to shoot it again until September because I am working off nova scotia for the next few month.

One 223 i tried before purchasing would jam the bolt somehow. It would go back half way opening when fired then it got stuck. I had to hit it to close. I'm generally good with understanding of the mechanics of things but to be honest I have no clue what caused it. I ended not buying the gun. Not sure if that's common or not. I do own one in 7.62 and never any issues except it shoots too high at 25m. The 223 was point of aim.
