CSA VZ58 magwell adapter issue

Put a CSA gen 2 adapter in my VZ58 (CSA) and all went well. However, it only likes "some" of my mags. Here's whats happening..
Load 5 rounds in a metal AR mag, it will cycle 4 then hold open on the last one. It does this on 4 mags that I have. The 5th one (which is a different make) works fine. It also works on all my 10 round AR pistol mags.

Not sure what the difference would be?

Any thoughts?

If you look through the thread where the CSA rep was introducing the mag adapter, he goes through in detail all the magazines that he had issues with, they did some quite extensive testing. he came to the conclusion that the specs on some of these mags vary a lot, which makes some functioning problems, i suggest you read it lots of great info
