I managed to take mine to the range today, after the registration finally came in the mail. It ran great, 500 rounds through it today.
I had a few jams (FTE) with cheap American Eagle ammo. They are a pain to clear, the small casings manage to get in behind the bolt.
The shoulder stock is way too short to be useful, maybe in the inter, with a thick padded coat it might work.

Any one with more experience with a Vz61 22LR please chime in. Would be great to hear more opinions and experiences.

Cheers.

Dunno. Just use mine for rapid plinking fun. Mags are a pita to load to 20. Would be neat to have a foregrip, but cant find the right secret sauce to make that happen yet...tried a scope mounted picatinny rail to bite the front end (hanging upside down) but didnt work out ...not a lot of aftermarket add ons for them, other than wood handles and leather holster/ mag holders and the oversize charging handles i think sold by corwin arms

I would love to try one, they look like lots of fun. Enjoy your new pistol.
If you really want to get into aftermarket parts, an AR Pistol, 1911, or Ruger MK II may be worth a look.

Beauty is it's NOT a pistol, so still full mag fun!

I've shot Abey's. Runs surprisingly well, though most rimfire semis are notorious for being ammo sensitive, so maybe he just lucked into the right one...

Lots of smiles playing with this one!!!

It's fun alright! Rapid fire with the brass raining down on you ( make sure to wear a cap) due to top eject. Cannot stop grinning.
It's been one of the best performing semi-auto rimfire for me. Only 4 ( I think) jams in 500 rounds on the first outing is good in my books.
Agree with the magazine loading being a PITA. Need to find a way to speed load.
