Popped by this afternoon after a trip to a different range to window shop and kick some tires.

They have a bucket of arsenal refurbed (very shiny, very good condition) K31 bayos on the front counter for $125 per.

Just thought I'd pass it along, because I know supply has been spotty for the past year or so, and some of you might want to complete your K31 kit.

These blades are one of the few bayonets from that era that can actually hold a useful edge.

Weirdly enough, the SVT-40 bayonets are among the best for this - and they were issued sharp, unlike most bayonets of the era. When I got my first one and pulled it out of the scabbard, at first I was super pissed and thought "WTF did Bubba take a grinder to this thing?" But no, it turns out, that the SVT bayos are among the few from the era that were delivered to the troops with a nice edge on them.

Most bayonets are supposed to be dull - and there's a whole lot of different explanations as to why.

FWIW they are new unissued bayonets. No serial numbers.

I have several svt40 bayonets, none of them are sharp. They could cut better if they are warm. I've never seen a sharp svt bayo. The K31 bayo however makes a great multi-purpose quad/camp knife. They come sharp and they hold their edge well as a general purpose knife... and they're nice to look at.

last time I was at Trade-Ex they did not have many left and I doubt that they will get more anytime soon.

Last large shipment of these rifles did not have enough slings or barrel nose caps with them to outfit every rifle that came in either.

Weimajack sells them as well, for $75.00.
