New Barrel threaded just past gas block, Noveske flash pig, NEA AR adapter, ACE HAMMER stock. Now we're getting somewhere.

Have another barrel coming in x39 as well.

That looks amazing. Was thinking about trading in my rem870 and mini14 to get an acr. I am still torn over it and cannot make up my mind.

I agree the XCR's main selling point is its non restricted status.

That's probably it's main one.

The other that's good for me is the switch-calibre ability.

There aren't many black firearms in Canada that you can hunt in most places with. In 6.8 I can hunt in Saskatchewan. Other than that, you have the firearms in 7.62x39 in small cartridges, and the RFB or M14 in intermediate. And anything in 7.62 x 39 generally can't be considered modern, except the XCR. So for me that's big. I know that you can hunt with .223 is some places, but not many for big game.

Also, I'll add, mines pretty damn accurate for a semi. I know lots of guy complain about the XCR's accuracy, but mines shooting 5 shot 1.5 inch groups at 100 so I'm happy. Most hunting rifles are 2 MOA guns, maybe better, so I can't complain about accuracy.

I have hunting rifles for hunting... As for black rifles; restricted or non, makes no difference to me. We have a private range, lotds of room to play.

Nice job!
I recently fondled a non-restricted one. For ~$2,500.00 I don't think itit will make my want list. At that price point the AR gets my vote.
Being non-restricted isn't a selling point because all my firearms (restricteds & non) are range toys only. YMMV.

It is a nice looking carbine. I wouldn't mind if RA would release a non-heavy barrel version or if I could get a lighweight/medium weight barrel. I was playing around the other day with my XCR and I noticed that a big chunk of the weight was the barrel...
