Curious about Maple Ridge Armoury and gas blocks

Has anyone had experience with Maple Ridge Armoury’s free float handguard? Also what low profile gas block is best, steel, aluminum, adjustable or not, pinned or not?
 
I have both a 12" and 15" SLW from them. While not installed yet, (waiting on my SLR's), the finish and quality are very impressive. I was so happy with what I saw from them that I switched out a bunch of parts I had originally planned on purchasing for more MRA parts.
