At the moment western metal has the best prices in the country! look at it that way

I remember the good old days when I bought a Girsan Regard for half the current price.
Probably should have kept it.
Like others, I can't afford to buy any more -- certainly not at the current prices.

But I don't see any physical address for Western Metal (even if the location isn't accessible to public - should be an address?)

Reputable dealer out of Calgary. Probably don't want the physical address floating around with all of the ammo and reloading components they keep on hand..

They do offer a pickup option at Straight Shooters Indoor Range. I have bought from WM a number of times and had it shipped to me without issue

Anyone else bought a handgun on the last minute and didn't make it to the 12:01 cut-off? Was wondering what will happen to mine, I ordered before the 21-Oct ban but WM initiated and got a transfer ref# noon of 21st. Now still waiting from them to confirm the next step because I informed them that I called CFO and told me there's no chance my transfer would push through.

yes ordered evening of the 20th , credit card was charged initially , (pending) and the charge has been cancelled as of a few days ago .
so not getting it either .
should have ordered 1 day sooner

My card has been charged and is now reflected on my bill. They didn't cancel.

I'd like to think if the CFC issues a reference number that it was valid, no? I recall reading of people trying to initiate transfers and were told no. But I'd think if a business got a valid reference # then you'd be good?

You could get transfer numbers on that day- and from my understanding you still can. When it comes to approval stage now they will look for an exception on your credentials though.

Man, I wish I could have a one day grace period to go on a handgun shopping spree. Rifles and shotguns really aren't doing it for me anymore. Missing the thrill of finding a good handgun deal.
