Hello Everybody,
Just wondering if anybody owns a year 2011 or newer SIG Sauer Pistol from Germany; Specifically either a classic P-series or X-Five.
And to be clear, I'm talking about guns direct from SIG Sauer GmbH (Germany); I don't care about guns from SIG Sauer Inc. (USA).
Lately, I've seen some obscure images and heard some rumors that SIG Germany had switched over to 'single-wire' recoil springs and stopped making the usual 'braided' recoil springs.
Is this true?
If so, is there any data or reports of the new 'single-wire' springs lasting longer or performing more consistently than the traditional braided recoil springs?
Thanks,
Note: both my SIGs have 3-strand braided recoil springs; I also bought some spare recoil springs that were only 2-strands.
