What is the reputation and quality of the various Type 2 308 Garands sold by the many dealors for $2400-$3,000.00? They have Breda, Springfield and Winchester, which they claim are all original Type 2 308's and not conversions. Are these any good?

I picked one up from foc. I went in and looked at a couple and picked the best looking one. Springfield receiver (41) Barrel is SA post war 1952. rechambered for 308 in 66 by the markings. Very nice Italian stock market MT. Price is a bit high but i think its worth it for a bit of historical value being what it is. Garand prices like all other surplus dont seem to drop. I wanted a 308 Garand. im happy with it.
