Cursed Cosmoline

I need opinions on how to leech cosmoline outta the wood on my fine new No5. She's pretty black in areas with the stuff. I tried a search and got a ton of irrelevant hits.

Use TSP and then re-BLO the furniture after (as TSP will really dry your wood). You can get TSP at Home Depot and other fine building supply stores.
