custom action for aics build

I am looking for suggestions on a custom action to fit an aics stock chambered in 6.5x47 lapua. I am interested in the stiller predator and tac 30 actions as well as surgeon. I understand these actions have a rem footprint but I am unsure about the magazine compatability.Any info would be appreciated as well as dealer info.

I've talked with Jerry Stiller and he told me that the TAC30 would drop right into an AICS and utilize the AI mag system. I'd phone Stiller or contact them by email just to double check on that.

Have you looked into Badger's M2008 action. Looks quite similar to AI. If you look this up on the snipers hide forum I'm sure you can get some info on it. Looks pretty impressive. I may be wrong but I think there is a waiting list for this action. As well as the paperwork possibly for cross the border,....not sure.

I just had a look at the m2008 looks like an ai clone for sure. They show wolverine as thier Canadian dealer.

I just did the "leg" work for a Stiller action for the AICS chassis. Give ATR a call, as a alternative.

Your project sounds interesting. There have been a couple of tactical 6.5X47 Lapuas featured on the 6BR website and they have shot like houses on fire!

FYI, we keep 6.5 barrels in stock on a continuous basis. This is arguably the most popular custom chambering out there right now.

I am off to wolverine on monday to check out the aics chassis and may even order a m2008 badger action if available.
