Custom build PCC- need a capable gunsmith

Just went through my bin of barrels. Found a new replacement Marlin 62 barrel in .30 Carbine. Shank diameter is .625..

Not really. Military, police, aircraft control and gun community used acronym, long before cell phones. Nothing to do with the younger generation and texting.

This been going on since the dawn of radios.

Considering there is a whole section on this forum for Pistol caliber carbines ( PCC )
I know acronyms have been around forever... PCC is fairly new, new enough google hasn't got it.

Pistol Carbine Cartridge maybe ????
And yes, texting has created a whole new vocabulary that is not necessary....
It's pistol caliber carbine. Sounds like a bunch of old people that want to blame something for not wanting to do something simple. Figure 2 people that been on the site 20 years would seen the pcc section.

There are so many niche sub sections on this site, I don't even bother keeping up.
I'm just here for the Gunsmithing section...

Oh, and AcronymFinder lists "pistol caliber carbine" as number 23 out of 238 possibilities.
Google knows what you normally search for. Maybe that's why it came up first for you.
I got "Portland Cement Council".

Goggle does not have PCC, google has PCC GUN

Not to worry it's just an old fart still learning..
With acronyms or searches you need a topic or context to search within. Just because pcc doesn't pop up to what you want, doesn't mean Google doesn't have it. Googling 700 isn't gonna pop up Remington.

So without context, you be searching for longer, and end up being old man yells at clouds because you cannot find it.

Well I added context to help search. If I know a pcc is a gun term why not add it to help?

What does PCC mean in the gun community? Then well I don't know what PCC means so I'll make a scene and blame people for being lazy and texting.

I know about the adapters, I have a few. I like the idea of cutting the barrel off ahead of the under lug and sleeve the new barrel in to it. The reason for this is to make a pcc that is in a caliber that’s not offered/different and to have some thing different and unique
What caliber were you thinking?
