Just received pictures from Clay at Prophet River that Cooper sent him of my Custom Classic .17 HMR. I supplied my own blank and asked for a Lilja Barrel.

Thanks Clay, looks awesome!!

not so fast as I hate to burst your bubble

but I was there at the grand opening and put 500 beans down on an engraved rimfire 22 long rifle, then I said I wanted a lilja stainless barrle and clay and HUGO said they had one in stock that was unclaimed

so I traded a engraved henry lever I just bought from a poor farmer type gopher shooter in the south

SO THIS GUN YOU SEE PICS OF IS NOW IN MY BASEMENT

SORRY

just kidding, Jefferson

(PM me I would love to chat after thursday at 6pm, thinking of options on my engraved order and wish to chat

Real beauty!! It is close to what I want to order, only change crome moly barrel with express sights, great gun hope you enjot it all year long by shooting it out hunting and at the range. You sure will get lots of offers to try it out, cheers Dale in T-Bay!!

Damn...yet another person I have to hate due to my own jealousy issues! This site is FULL of them! ;)

That rifle is a stunner for sure, congratulations! I've just upgraded to a CZ 452 Varmint in the .17HMR department...next stop, Cooper! :)

Looks very nice,it's lucky for me,that I am not into fancy trim like that,or I would be broke.:D
Either that,or I would have to settle for two fancy Coopers, instead of five lower trim level Coopers.

Great piece of wood, the darker grain really complements the stainless barrel, they do very nice engraving, and the skeleton butt plate just adds to it. Clay had a Jackson Squirrel done up for me a while ago with the New Zealand walnut (showed pix on this site) high gloss blueing etc. You can not get a custom butt plate on a JSR, so the next will have to be a custom classic with a full load, maybe even a western classic,Cooper turns out an extremely fine product, your rifle is something to be proud of.

 Thanks for the kind words everyone. Now I am just flip flopping as to what scope to put on it.
I have been advised to go with a scope with a gloss finish to complement the high polished barrel. I see Clay has one in stock, a Leupold VI 4-12X40.
