Anyone hear of a custom Dillon 650 toolhead that would have the bigger threaded holes 1-1/4-12 thread in order to fit the Hornady Bushing to convert it to allow the LnL conversions. The idea is to have one dedicated toolhead that I can change the dies in easily to pre size brass for example or other 'one of' processes before sending it through the full assembly line on my other toolheads.

I thought about it as well, but the material would be getting pretty thin towards the outer edge of the tool head. A tool head with only 4 positions could work, but the shell plate indexes to 5 positions.

Buy the Hornady pinch style lock rings and replace the junk nuts that comes on most dies. By locking the ring around the threads this way the rings stay in place, automatically square the ring to the thread axis and won't slip when you screw them in and out frequently. It'll be a touch slower than the bayonet setup but not by all that much.

Best of all it's a lot cheaper than buying the inserts and bushings.

My latest application for this would have been to resize all my .357 sig brass through a carbide die before; Station1, sending it through the full length case and neck sizer with no lube, Station 2, prime and powder, Station 3, powder check, Station 4, expand the neck, Station 5, seat the bullet.
Also had something in mind for sizing and de-prime .223 brass before cleaning of the lube and sending it through the rest of the process.
I suppose a couple extra tool heads or switching out the dies on a spare tool head are going to be my solutions.
