custom leather gun slings

Hi,

I just picked up a model 70 with a nice walnut stock - need a gun sling for it. The wood is very nice so I'm thinking a nice piece of leather will compliment it well.

Any recommendations for a leather sling - I'm located in western Canada.

There is a few custom job leather workers that can be found via a simple search on here, I don’t recall any names off the top of my head. I do know a fella down the road who does high end stuff, including belts and bags etc etc with a large stock of different materials and clean work but he does not make cheap stuff. If you want something nice enough that you want to do it once and lasts a lifetime you can google “little lion man leather” or PM me for info. He’s a bud and has let me put together a few things at his shop, including a sling I did recently.

Custom leather slings are as tacky as it gets. Brownells Latigo or Montana Slings would be better options.

well, I was thinking nothing fancy - my goal was to try and buy sort of local. Nothing tooled, or stitched with a name or logo, just classic well finished leather.
