I'm looking for a Canadian company that will make custom loaded rifle ammo. I checked out wolfbullets.com, but it appears that they only load handgun ammo. Anyone got any suggestions...if you could post the website addy I'd appreciate it. Thanks in advance! :)

Each load must be approved by NRCAN for sale, so unless it is a large run, and you want to wait for approval, it likely won't work. Best bet is to get a reloader friend to do it for you, or start loading.

Yeah I thought about reloading myself, but I live in and isolated northern community so all reloading equipment and supplies would have to be purchased over the internet. With shipping as expensive as it is, I thought that maybe buying custom made rifle ammo in bulk might be a more economical choice. Maybe I should rethink going the reloading route. Thanks for the help CanAm.

I live in Vancouver, and I buy all my reloading supplies online. Much cheaper that way. You also likely have other reloader nearby who can group with you and buy in bulk.

"...buying custom made rifle ammo in bulk might be a more economical choice..." Nope. Shipping charges for ammo, going anywhere, is expensive. Plus any time the word 'custom' is added to anything, it costs more.

What caliber(s)??

Geez, sorry for the late reply I had completely forgotten about this thread. I was looking for some .30-06, .30-30, and maybe .243. If you're wondering about the custom .30-30, I have a bolt .30-30 and so it can use a spitzer type pointed bullet as it has a detachable mag, not a tube.

"...have a bolt .30-30..." An old tack driving Savage 340? Just curious. The .30-30's accuracy can be astounding out of a bolt action.

Yup...well, it's actually a Stevens 325A, but it's the same rifle. I believe the Savage 340 was based on the Stevens 325. I have heard they are pretty accurate, although I haven't yet had a chance to try her out. Can't wait to run a few rounds through her. :)
