I have an older BDL in 6mmRem from way back. It has a tighter twist than the regular production rifles of its day so it was always a great shooter with heavier bullets. The stock was a little extra glossy and the fleur di lis checkering was slightly more ornate than the regular production BDL rifles. This was my first rifle as a kid and I used this rig to harvest 300+ deer, elk, moose, and a pile of coyote and fox. The 6mm is now a safe queen as my main rigs now are a 270 and a 35, but I will never part with that little rifle.
