Custom stock ...advice needed

Hi folks.

My wife has a little Norinco bolt action .22LR and her father made a beautiful purple heart wood stock for it. We are heading to the US for an extended period soon and unfortunately Norincos do not make it into the US. Does anyone know of a good gunsmith that can use the purple heart stock and custom fit it onto a different (non-chinese) .22LR? Preferably in Alberta (if possible).

Norinco guns are usually copies. Can you just buy the real gun ??

Thats what I would like to do. I would like to buy a different .22LR that is not a Norinco and have the stock from the Norinco taken off and custom fit to the new rifle.

Oh its currently a Norinco JW15. I haven't bought a replacement yet.

That is based off of a brno 22lr.

Yup. A CZ 452 should fit. Not sure if the new 455s have the same footprint.
