Well...here goes...
I have been thinking lately that it would be nice to have an extra synthetic stock for one of my nicer rifles to use for hunting inclement weather. Problem is I really doubt there are any commercially made for the rifle in question.
The rifle is a Mauser Model 66.
I could always take along another rifle for when the weather gets snotty but I really really like hunting with this rifle. It fits perfect, comes to my shoulder like it was made for it, shoots accurately, and seems to reload itself in preperation for a follow-up shot.
So...does anyone have any suggestions of where a nice synthetic could be found for this rifle? I'd like a quality synthetic...not a ramline style abomination.
