DsrtRat, your work is awesome as well! I am likely gonna change my mind a hundred times by the time I get some lined up to paint it...but right now I am leaning towards a blue with some silver or blue flake in it and then some barb wire or razor wire graphics.
Quick question for those who have been involved or witnessed some of the painting process.... The BellandCarlson stocks and HS for that matter have a rough feel to them...not just the spackle paint on top but also rough below the main color...I believe its a sort of texture paint? Anyhow...is this in fact the paint or are the stock moulds actually really rough? Just kinda wondering how much sand prep will be required????
I can't speak about the surface of that stock but can tell you that to be painted, a smooth surface is best. To be painted in high detail, a smooth surface is a MUST!
