Here is a custom in 6.5 x 47 Lapua.

action Surgeon sa (from ### inter.)
bottom, Sureon with AI mag.

barrel, Krieger 6.5 mm, 1-8 twist(From Adams barrels)
MacMillan stock A5

scope ,Nightforce NXS 5-22 , and rings ( from Hirsch precision)

trigger , Jewell (from mystic)

This rifle shoot 1/4 inche, 5 shots, 100 yds, all the time, if you are doing your
part, very easy and fun to shoot.

(no comment on the paint job, I will redo it very soon.In a better manner.)

Nice setup DESO! Those rings you have there, are they painted or something. They don't seem to be the normal ring color. Might be the light I guess. They look beefy anyway.

Barrel is a Krieger SS, 28 inches ,contour 17, but with 1 inche at muzzle.

6.5 x 47 Brass , Lapua
35.0 grs / Varget with 139 grs Lapua bullet.

I had made the cutter by Pacific tool, for the exact freebore, of
the 139 grs Lapua.
And, even the 123 grs Lapua shoot , 1/4 inche all the time whitout anay fuss.

(The smith, was Andre Mathieu, in Québec.)


It is a very nice caliber to shoot, very light recoil, a lot of fun,

And NoNeck, emjoy your build, you will not regret that one, for sure.

The ring on it, are NF steel, must be older, they look a kindof grey.
