Bought a pile of stuff from them over the years. I only ever had issue, and they did not make it right. I bought well over $500 of bullets from them, for reloading. A bunch of .338 caliber Barnes TTSX bullets. They sent the regular TSX bullets instead, I emailed them when they arrived, I forming them that I recieved the wrong bullets. I sent a picture from the website showing the product, the description, the product code, and how it was the TTSX I ordered, it matched my cart, and my bill. It also matched the product code on the Barnes website.
I ended up sending quite a few emails back and forth, then ended up phoning a few times. They said they had a bunch of bullets entered wrong in their system, and said I had to deal with it. Would not reimburse me for the difference in price between the two, because the TTSX was more money, and would not take them back unless I paid for the shipping. So I was punished for their screw up, and had to pay for bullets that I did not order.
Needless to say I was pretty bummed out about it since I never had issues with them in the past. But it definitely isn't like a small town store, they do not care about their customers anywhere close to the same way. If it was somewhere like North Pro Sports, Prophet River, Eagle Firearms, they would have made it right, and apologized.
Those three stores are by far the best 3 I have ever dealt with, oh, and Prairie Gun Traders. Top Notch stores, with very friendly helpful staff. I have had wrong items shipped from other stores before, and it was either send them back prepaid, we will ship the right stuff out, or if you want to keep them we will give you a deal. I am sure there are plenty of other good stores out there, but most of the big ones are just that, too big.
