Just want to give a shout out and acknowledge too Clayton from Prophet River. I haven't spent dime one there yet. Clayton has answered my questions and is helping me on my next shotgun purchase. To find good customer service these days is rare. People are quick to vent when having a bad experience, but sometimes don't give accolades when warranted. Thanks.

Or should I say lack of it. I found a place on the east coast, a business that sells used guns. Found one I like, emailed. No response. So I called, spoke with someone who first, could not find said gun. I asked if I could leave email. "well that will take 2 weeks for pictures". Huh? Then he tells me oh I usually grab gun off rack and answer any questions you have. And this is how you do business. No thanks. The Gun Dealer, well not gonna get my business.:kickInTheNuts:

This is not the forum to vent your dirty hot air. If you've got a problem go post it in the vendor section.

The Gun Dealer is not on this forum, so where should he post it under? And since that particular dealer was mentioned, I'll throw in my 2 cents about The Gun Dealer. The service via email I will agree is terrible. I rarely get requests for pics answered anymore. My biggest gripe though is the condition of used guns. Just received a gun last week which in the ad was described as UNFIRED. Well I get it delivered and check it out, and without even taking it apart I can see it's been fired. Plain as day on the bolt face is the imprint of a shotgun shell and powder. Take the forearm off and there's powder and dirt all over the magazine tube. Now the gun itself is in excellent condition, but I called them anyways to ask about the 'unfired' part. The response was "well we get a lot of guns in and don't really check them out before we list them, we just take the sellers word for it that he didn't fire it". Ummm ok, so,in other words you sucker the new buyer into paying a premium for a gun he thinks is minty and brand new. I didn't even waste my time arguing the fact, as I plan on shooting it anyways, but I have sent guns back to,them before because of this same misrepresentation. Kinda getting tired of the routine from them though. I've also bought a couple guns from Clay at Prophet River in the last few years, and his service has been nothing short of excellent! If he'd get more Browning shotguns in he'd get even more of my $
