How does one go about doing a trigger job on a new Springfield 1911?
is it just a matter of deburring the contacting edges? If so do the edges need cleaning up after a while? Has any one heat-treated or ion-nitrided the sear and trigger to resist burring? I've heard of guys just ripping the guts out of GI .45's and replacing everthing with Kimber or colts parts. Is this feasible or just the regular #####ing about Springfield? P.S. can you get 10 rnd mags for a single stack????? Also how to reduce trigger pull weight. Thanks guys!
