Customs issue Beratta???!!!

My work gun is also not a target model(S&W 5946), and has a terrible trigger(around 12lbs or so).

Next time you're out at Depot if Faulconbridge is around ask to try his (personal) 5946... it has the nicest, smoothest S&W DAO trigger I've ever shot... on any handgun. I thought I had done a decent trigger job on mine but his just amazed me.

Mark :)

there are a couple 5946's out here that have amazing triggers. I doubt very very much that Depot would like to see them. they are as nice as any PPC revolver, light and sweet.

just remember to not remove the mag safety...... not that I know any mounties who've done this :ninja:

sure it's tactical, it's black and heavy, just like most of the "tactical gear" out there.

This model S&W (5946) is an accurate and reliable duty firearm. It has an unfortunate and undeserved reputation as a so-so semi-auto. I put 50,000 rounds through it during SARP training and still maintained great accuracy. I currently use it for CPCA Duty Pistol events - and it works just fine.

Next love affair that's developing is with my new M&P in .40 cal. Sweet!
