Well I’m looking for some information on a rifle and i have tried everything i can think of. I picked up a left-handed rifle last year from a fellow up around the Sault. He knew nothing about this rifle as i tried to find something out on my own with no luck.

The rifle is stamped (on the barrel) Cleveland Custom gun Shop Cleveland Ohio. There are no other markings on the gun other then the data stamp. Its built on a savage 110 action with a 27-inch barrel (it has a heavy sporter barrel)The recoil pad is also stamped the same way.

I have wrote letters to the NRA, American Custom Gun makers Guide, Guns and Ammo, Rifle shooter Magazine, Cleveland Chamber of Commerce and also have asked a lot of people about it. Most are impressed with the workmanship on the rifle. I only have found one other and that was a really fancy mauser but no one has any information on it either.

The rifle will put five shots into one ragged hole at a hundred yards and seems to work perfectly.

I’m open to all suggestions that any one might have. I suspect that its a small gunshop that bought actions and then rebarrelled them.

Thanks

Dennis
