That about says it. There were tons of coyote tracks (and crap) but no rabbits and I only heard one grouse. I didn't see any coyote either. I did, however, see a tree stand that had had it's tree cut out from under it and a bunch of garbage left behind. What's worse, some dude thinking it's a good idea to kill a tree in order to stop one hunter or the hunter leaving a bunch of garbage around?
I also had a beautiful doe step in front of me only about 30 yards ahead of me on a logging road. If only I had my deer license. If only I had a rifle and not a shotgun with me. If only I had a doe license. If only my dog didn't get so excited seeing her first deer. Still, it was nice to get that close to a deer. I've never done that before.
