Cut Shot Shells

I recall hearing about the idea of cutting a shot shell case so that the top end became the projectile. A field expedient slug.

It sounded dangerous to me. the diameter of the case is bigger than the barrel. Any way, here it is on you tube.

I have done this too. I would be very aware of the choke that is in the shotgun.
