Hey all,
I've had this cutaway No4 for years, originally bought it thinking I'd incorporate it into my PAL courses but never did. I cannot find anything online to suggest a current value. Any help is appreciated.

Is it deactivated, or is the barrel still fireable? For originality these were technicallly capable of firing if the chamber is not cut away, but many got pins welded through the chamber so they could be sold as non- firearms.

A deactivated one can be sold to more people and more easily be displayed.

It sounds like the #4 cutaway may not be an original military creation.
They are absolutely original and some dealers still have these in stock from a few years ago. They came in from India, a mix of cutaways of SMLE, long Lee and no.4 actions.

If you google you can find out what the current ones for sale are listed at. All that are left in stock are no4’s like this one.
