Cutting 1911 slide grasping grooves

My Remington 1911 'Carry' Commander came ''melted'', which I like. However, the slide grasping grooves are rounded on the bottom and got the same treatment, making them slippery to use.

I put the slide in the hands of a 'smith for recutting who kept it on the shelf for a month and didn't touch it.

Any recommendations for a 'smith who can and will cut them within my life time?
