Cutting and crown bbl

Want to shorten rifle bbl 24” to 20” and recrown, can you recommend a smith with a good track record specifically this job? Thanks

Dennis (guntech on this board) did a re-crown for me a couple years ago. Very fast turnaround, excellent work and a fair price to boot.

What kind of crown are you looking for? Recessed is quite popular these days... any smith with a lathe and a piloted chamfer reamer should be able to do this...
