Cutting the Stock

According to Canadian Firearm Law, are we allowed to cut the stock off our shotguns as long as the overall gun length is over 26." I recently bought a shotgun with a 15" barrel and I cut part of the stock off so that it would be easier for me to use. The new overall length is 31". I hope I didn't make my new gun prohibited.

Dave, you are correct. as long as the OAL is over 26 inches you are good to go

Just dont cut the barrel at all

Oh thank God. I was beginning to worry. I won't touch the barrel. I just cut the stock down to make it easier for me to hold, since I'm a small frame guy (5'8" and 150 lbs). The gun I bought is a mag fed shotgun from canadaammo. I'll post a picture of it soon.
