I would look at modern muzzleloading forum about this as another CVA blew up at the owners hands a couple of weeks ago (not sure which model, but these are the Spanish barrels)and would not trust their barrels. I have never shot their guns before, but coming from a company that went belly up from lawsuits only to come again with the same barrels cannot be trusted. Safety is number one. Just my opinion, but I would not to see anyone hurt over having a little fun.

Take a look at the sticky at the top of this page, all the pertinent information about the problem CVA's is there.
A few months back, a few Sakos blew-up for no apparent reason. Can't say that "all Sako's are crap" based on a bad batch. CVA (much like Sako did) found the problem and has dealt with it accordingly.
