CVA scout centerfire rifle. Any sponsors carrying them?

Never heard of these rifles until you just mentioned it. Interesting!

Anyone know why some of the rifles on Prophet River's site are $800 and others are $650, they look the same to me? (I can see that some have scopes, but they don't all seem to?)

the ones with scopes should be $799.00, the ones with out less than 700.00, depending on exact rifles. If there is one without a scope at 799.00, it is a mistake. We will look them over ASAP and correct.

Do a search for CVA SCOUT CANADA.
What cartridge you looking for one chambered in? They run about $550 retail, triggers are notoriously bad, Henry has a decent single shot if that is what you are after, they sell out quickly though, same price.

probably after a .308 or 6.5 creed. I've actually read that the triggers were better on the scout than the Henry's. Yes, I'm thinking it's going to have to be sub $600 before the taxes for me to grab one.

Henry triggers are worse than cva. The henry has a wood stock though. Prices have really jumped on the cva. Prophet river is the best place to shop for the best selection of cva centerfires. The cva v2 is alot nicer than the hunter series

We do not have a Canadian distribuor. We have to get from our USA distributor and import. If the Canadians would carry them, they'd likely be 100.00 cheaper :(

I have not touched a CVA, but I own a Henry and it has a very heavy trigger. I hear you can make them lighter by swapping out the springs but I haven't messed with mine yet.

I bought mine from IRUNGUNS. It's a 45-70 and the trigger is not junky. Not to say that it's on par with a Sako or anything awesome, but it's way better than a Savage Axis. Accuracy is great. Ergonomics are good.
