is the cx-4 storm no longer available in canada, in .45 acp? a gunshop told me this, just curious if it is true.

I tried to google it but came up with nothing. When I was at TSE looking for an EoTech 557 the guy behind the counter told me .45 was being discontinued.
I regret not asking him why....

My understanding is that it was discontinued as it was the firearm used in the shooting in quebec, correct me if I am wrong. Thats when all the discontinued talk came up and was my understanding. Now why that would make them only get rid of 45 and not the 9, or 40 beats the hell out of me.

Discontinued because a lunatic used a sporting rifle to murder people with? People really need to smartin' up.

It was to my understanding that the low life used a .40 Strom.

The .45ACP was not being sold long before that incident. Not just in Canada, for the USA as well. There is still old stock floating around in the USA, but it has been discontinued as far as I know for reasons unknown (lack of sales?)

does HK have a semi auto version of the ump? really like the thought of a .45 rifle like that. as for beretta, why they did not come out with a .45 using the px4 ten round mags is beyond me.

The mag wells on the Storm can be swaped out for different mags ,i.e,if you have a .40S&W that uses mags from the 96 you can (youerself) change the mag well to take mags for the PX4,but not sure about the .45ACPs.

It should be the same.
