Ok, so while I absolutely LOVE my new toy....the trigger needs some improvement. About 6-9lbs worth of improvement. Current pull is an estimated 12lbs, but my RCBS trigger gauge tops out at 9lbs.

Who does work on Storm triggers? Are there any drop in kits that will bring the trigger pull down to a usable 3.5-4.5lbs?

Or will it wear in and settle down after a couple more boxes of ammo?

For now, try using a decent mineral grease on the hammers engagement surface.

From the design, I don't think this gun will ever have a beautiful trigger.

Gawd, what have we become....
Any tee-shirt buys 'round here are full of requests for 2XL., 3XL or larger and many can't handle a trigger pull over 5.5 lbs
What Canada needs is a return to the days of Participaction

It's not a case of being unable to pull a heavy trigger. It's the quality of the pull, and the Beretta, while lovely in many ways, blows goats with it's long, heavy, mushy trigger release.

uh...yeah. All the top-pro's recommend a 44lb trigger pull, to maximize accuracy and get an intradigital workout at the same time.

A light, 2-4 pound trigger pull, grit/creep free with a surprise break is the key to accurate shooting. The best barrel in the world with hand made precision ammo aint worth a damn with a 12+ pound trigger pull.

I didn't realize that the engagement surfaces were plastic too, thought it was just the trigger shoe. I'll try greasing it and then see if it wears in.
