I presume that the shooter in ok as it looks like most of the blast went up and out but can you imaging being the guy beside him getting hit by some of the shrapnel??? Ouch!!!

WHAT IF

first shot was a dud, guy kept revolver pointed in a safe direction then decided, while looking over the gun, to take another shot just to make damn sure and that other shot was a triple charge. I can very well imagine an injured shooter in this given situation.
 
No pictures but have witnessed an S&W model 14 where the top strap peeled back, top half of cyl. heaven bound, never found it and the only injury were a few scrapes to the face, the same person bought a model 28 Smith and with one of his reloads in .38 spl. actually buldged out one cyl. hole to the extend the cyl. would not turn. To my knowledge he does not load any more.
 
Gotta be about the 4th or 5th time this has been posted in various places on CGN in as many months.

The value in reposting it is to serve as a warning of what might be if one is not careful I suppose.

I mean, that he stopped reloading...:D
