Well, I never thought that I would ever own a 17HMR, but I just bought a used CZ 452 American on the EE. Based on the cost of 17HMR loads, it won't replace my 17Mach2 rifles for use in the gopher patch, but I will give it a fair test, and see what it can do that my 17Mach2 rifles can't do.
While I was on the EE, I also noticed a New Savage in 17Mach2 for sale. I guess that BruceCorporal hasn't seen the add yet, and bought it.
