CZ 20g chokes?

Hey guys,

I was hoping to confirm what kind of thread pattern the 20 gauge Redhead takes. I know the 12g runs Mobil chokes but this will be my girlfriends o/u and figured I'd double check before I spent the money on new extended tubes for that won't fit.


As an aside, if someone has a set of extended tubes they want to part with, shoot me a PM.

Carlson's website has a separate section for Huglu 20ga. Not sure if its because they're not Beretta Mobil. I just remember from the owners manual of my CZ Redhead in 20 gauge it said it was Mobil chokes. Never went out and bought new chokes for it though. Id go to a gun shop and test if 20 gauge Beretta Mobil fit. If they do, then you have your answer. Most Turkish made O/U are Beretta Mobil.

I was hoping to pick up a pair more cheaply on the ee. I feel like kind of a #### trying out a store's stuff and then buying elsewhere. Maybe wolverine would know, since they are the cz importer....?

Like the brand tru lock? I was under the impression they were just a manufacturer, like Carlson. Are the huglu chokes unique or re branded Mobil?

Tru-Lock isn't a thread type its just a manufacture.

I looked it up the CZ 20ga use Huglu's own thread type for the 20ga shotguns while the 12gauge can use Beretta Mobile but apparently fit very tight. Even Huglu's own brand name of shotgun in 20ga won't take Beretta mobile although it says they use to but not anymore. There is actually a lot of 20ga Turkish made shotguns from different brands that show they take what is called Huglu 20ga.
